Commanders rocked by injury scare as top receiver goes down at minicamp

Noah Brown deserves a little bit of luck after how the 2024 season ended. Unfortunately, there is now some grave concern surrounding his status moving forward. Brown got a new one-year deal from the Washington Commanders this offseason despite suffering a serious internal injury that required kidney surgery against the Tennessee Titans. He got a clean bill of health and has been finding his football legs again over early workouts. This came screeching to an abrupt halt with a concerning development on Day 2 of the team's mandatory minicamp. According to those in attendance, Brown was carted off the practice field after falling while securing a catch. This came with a collective sigh of dismay among the fan base keeping up to date with developments on social media. It's now a nervous wait for everyone involved. The Commanders have time on their side. They can take their time with months until their season opener against the New York Giants.
