Giants quarterback Daniel Jones is holding out hope for a quick return to the field, but the description of his injury isn’t necessarily too promising. NBC reported on the quarterback’s situation during Sunday Night Football.
During the broadcast, it was reported that Jones said he “has discomfort in the left side of his neck” and that the sensation goes into his left shoulder. That’s not a very promising sign for a quarterback.

Jones sustained a neck injury during during the Giants’ loss to the Dolphins last week. He missed New York’s Sunday Night Football game against the Patriots.
Tyrod Taylor received the start in Jones’ place.
Despite the discomfort, Jones said he hopes to be available for next week’s game against the Commanders.
