
Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay has had a very impressive coaching career at a young age. After spending three years as a wide receiver with Miami University, he hung up the cleats to become a coach.
He has been the head coach of the Rams since the 2017 season. He has an overall record of 91-55 in nine seasons and has gone 8-5 in the playoffs. He has led Los Angeles to two Super Bowl appearances, including a 23-20 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals in Super Bowl LVI.
His Rams have been looking like title contenders again in 2025, as they currently sit in first place in the NFC with an 11-3 record.
McVay, who is now 39 years old, became the youngest head coach hired in the Modern Era of the NFL when he joined the Rams at 30. When Los Angeles won the Super Bowl after the 2021 season, he also became the youngest head coach to ever win the ultimate NFL title.
McVay is married to Veronika Khomyn McVay, a former model turned real estate agent. The couple had their first child, Jordan, in 2023.
On Tuesday, the Rams announced that the McVays they welcomed their second child, Christian Alexander McVay, to the world.
This brought in a host of congratulations online for the 2017 AP NFL Coach of the Year.
"Congrats to Sean, Veronika, and big brother Jordan on Christian Alexander! Biggest W of the year—playoffs clinched and now a growing McVay squad. Rams fam forever! ❤️," one fan said.
"Congrats!" wrote another.
"Congrats!!" chimed in one more.

McVay will have a quick turnaround after having his second child, as the Rams are set to take on the division rival Seattle Seahawks (11-3) on Thursday at 8:15 p.m. ET on Prime Video.
