The Bengals have locked in Tee Higgins and Ja'Marr Chase on long-term contracts as the 2025 NFL Offseason rolls on. Details have surfaced on Higgins's fresh deal with the team.
Check out the full contract details below on Higgins four-year, $115 million deal from Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer:
$30 million of the deal was fully guaranteed at signing—A $20 million roster bonus this March, and a $10 million roster bonus next March. Breer noted Higgins's $13.8 million base for this year has not been guaranteed yet
The practical guarantee here is the $45.9 million (if Higgins plays in all 17 games this year), with $35.9 million due in 2025, and the $10 million roster bonus for next year subject to offsets. $10.9 million of Higgins 2026 base becomes fully guaranteed next March, Breer acknowledged that adds to the already fully-guaranteed roster bonus that’s paid out then. Finally, he has $2 million in per-game roster bonuses in each year of the deal. That acts as a guard against injury for Cincinnati.
