Philadelphia Eagles rookie defensive back Cooper DeJean caught every NFL fan's attention over the weekend after lighting up Baltimore Ravens running back Derrick Henry in Week 13's 24-19 win.
And what came after didn't go unnoticed either.
Following the hit stick on Henry, DeJean did an interesting celebration dance that his teammates also joined in on.

On Monday while rewatching the tackle he made on Henry, DeJean gave a short explanation behind his choice of celebration dance that he was so eager to do.

"I caught him right when he was turning around. So I could put a good little hit on him. I didn't really expect to lift him up like that," DeJean said of the hit. "Then we had the little team celebration after. We had just come up with that this week actually. Knew right away after the hit ... I got up so fast because I knew what the celebration was. You see the guys on the sideline even doing it too. It's pretty cool."
DeJean, a 2024 second-round pick out of Iowa by the Birds, is having an incredible first year in the NFL.
He enters Week 14 against the Carolina Panthers ranked sixth on the team with 35 total tackles (27 solo), half a sack, one fumble recovery, and six passes defended under his belt so far.
