Could Buccaneers QB Tom Brady play another five years?

The legend of Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady grew even larger with the Super Bowl LV victory over the Kansas City Chiefs. The future Hall of Famer now has seven titles and five Super Bowl Most Valuable Player awards on his resume, and he often looked to be in his prime last fall even though he'll turn 44 years old in August of this year.

Running back LeSean McCoy joined the Buccaneers last summer and had many up-close looks at how Brady trains and conducts himself during the season. As Chris Mason wrote for Mass Live, McCoy explained during an appearance on "The Pat McAfee Show" that he doesn't see Brady slowing down anytime soon:

"He’s the only player that I’ve ever been around that, when he speaks, when he talks, I believe him. He could tell me, ‘Shady, go walk on that water. You won’t drown.’ I’m going to be like, ‘OK.’ He has that type of thing about him. And the way he works. When I was younger, I wish I worked as hard as he does. We just won a Super Bowl and he’s back training, doing little things."

McCoy added: "I’m like, this guy is so dialed in. He’s 43! He’s dialed in. He can play another five years. Just because, not only just the talent or the big arm and all that. It’s just like, he gets it. He gets it."

Ahead of the Super Bowl, Brady admitted he would consider playing past the age of 45, and Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians said he "wouldn't be surprised" if Brady extends his contract with the club past the 2021 season.

Brady will be 48 years old five years from today. He's already shown age is only a number as it pertains to his production, so maybe he should try to remain in the NFL through his 50th birthday.
