The Dallas Cowboys are looking to keep their foot on the gas and make a playoff run under head coach Brian Schottenheimer.
While there's a small window for error in the Cowboys' playoff plan, Schottenheimer and the team have won three of their last four games, playing their best football in the latter half of the season.
Despite heading into their last matchup on a three-game win streak, the Cowboys suffered a loss to the Detroit Lions.
During the matchup against the Lions, Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb went down with an injury. On an attempted touchdown catch, Lamb hit the ground with force and was ruled out of the game after entering concussion protocol.
As the Cowboys prepare for their next matchup, set to play the Minnesota Vikings in Week 15, Schottenheimer revealed an update on Lamb.
Schottenheimer mentioned that Lamb has been "progressing nicely," and while he still needs to clear concussion protocol, he's confident the Cowboys star will be back on his feet sooner rather than later.
Cowboys coach Brian Schottenheimer said WR CeeDee Lamb (concussion) is “progressing nicely.” He said Lamb has a couple of things he still needs to do to be cleared, adding, “I feel good about that.”

CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens have formed one of the best wide receiver tandems in the NFL. While Lamb has missed time this season, Pickens has been the glue guy for the offense, helping quarterback Dak Prescott thrive for the Dallas Cowboys.
Heading into their Week 15 game against the Minnesota Vikings, CeeDee Lamb has posted three touchdowns and 865 yards on 57 receptions.
