The Dallas Cowboys' recent slide has forced their backs against the wall.

While the Cowboys seemed to be going on a run midway through the season, they have recently lost two straight games, threatening their playoff chances.

Injuries have been a concern during head coach Brian Schottenheimer's journey of leading the Cowboys to a potential playoff spot.

While some fans and media personnel are monitoring the illness of CeeDee Lamb, the Cowboys are also dealing with an ailment to defensive tackle Quinnen Williams.

Williams left the Cowboys' last matchup with a concussion, going down in the must-win game for Dallas against the Minnesota Vikings.

Now, with a matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers on the horizon, the Cowboys announced that Williams has returned to practice, seemingly clearing him for football activities.

"Cowboys DT Quinnen Williams and FB Hunter Luepke were back at practice today after each suffered a concussion in Sunday night's game."

Quinnen Williams was traded to the Dallas Cowboys ahead of the NFL trade deadline. Before starring on the defensive line under Brian Schottenheimer, Williams spent seven seasons with the New York Jets.

The former first-round pick is now the anchor of the Cowboys' defensive line, having posted one interception, three forced fumbles and 2.5 sacks this season.
