Cowboys' Biggest Offseason Question Leads to Easy Answer

For most of the Dallas Cowboys' roster, we have a fair idea of who will be starting and who will be backup/rotational players under Brian Schottenheimer.

Aside from the running back room, where there is a genuine question mark about who will be starting, the roster, as it is currently constructed, doesn't have too many questions.

Granted, some will pop up over the next few months, but for Bleacher Report, the publication has found its biggest question aimed at Dallas.

"What’s the plan at left tackle?" Bleacher Report wrote.

Well, the plan at left tackle is relatively simple - it's Tyler Guyton.

That's it—end of discussion.

Yes, Asim Richards has shown he can be a capable backup, but he isn't usurping Guyton as the starter. At least not now.

Guyton struggled in Year 1, but switching from right tackle in college to left tackle in the NFL isn't something that many thought could be done smoothly.

Now, with a change in diet, Guyton is ready to enter his second year with a bang and be the dependable tackle for Dak Prescott that Dallas had hoped he would be last season.

Offensive coordinator Klayton Adams and offensive line coach Conor Riley, both of whom have experience in developing effective run games, will be key in Guyton's development in his second season.

The offensive line now has three first-round picks in Guyton, Tyler Smith, and the newly drafted Tyler Booker in front of Dak. But who starts at left tackle for the Cowboys isn't a question. It's Guyton.

It's only a matter of how well he plays the position, and Cowboys Nation hopes it's far better than it was a year ago.
