The Dallas Cowboys did not allow Micah Parsons and the Green Bay Packers to come away with a win on Sunday at AT&T Stadium — and vice versa. Dallas and Green Bay ended their meeting in a 40-40 tie, an underwhelming conclusion to an otherwise entertaining game between inter-division rivals.
Parsons was not able to do much damage. Many expected him to put on a show against his former team for a big statement, but he only had three tackles. Parsons still had a sack and three quarterback hits, but he was not the game-changer Green Bay hoped he would be in the contest, as Dak Prescott and the Cowboys kept having success against the Packers’ defense.
Dallas head coach Brian also spoke about Parsons, praising the former Penn State Nittany Lions while opening up about his desire to see Green Bay down the road again this season.
“What a great player, man, Schottenheimer said after the Packers game, per Rob Demovsky and Todd Archer of ESPN.
“We’ve got other Micahs [as the year goes on], and I hope to see Micah again. I hope we see him down the line here again in January.”
The Cowboys would love to get another crack at Green Bay, especially in the playoffs. It was not that long ago when the Packers eliminated Dallas in the 2023 NFL postseason, with Jordan Love and company beating the Cowboys in a playoff matchup at Jerry World.
