Cowboys' CeeDee Lamb Issues Stern Warning to NFL Rivals: 'I Can't Wait To...'

The Dallas Cowboys’ offense will feature one of the best wide receiver duos in the NFL next season as CeeDee Lamb will be joined by recently-acquired George Pickens at the line of scrimmage.

Lamb, who has been with the Cowboys for the past five seasons, didn't just set a sky-high bar for the team ahead of 2025, but he's also challenged the whole league to stop him.

Talking to reporters on Wednesday at the Cowboys' training camp, Lamb explained why his connection with quarterback Dak Prescott can reach new heights this season.

“I can be as strong, as fast, as explosive as I want to be,” Lamb said, “but if I can’t control it to where Dak understands how explosive or how in and out my breaks I can be, I think I did that essentially just for me, and it’s never just for me.”

Both Lamb (who missed time last offseason but appeared in 15 games) and Prescott (missed nine games injured) are healthy going into 2025.

The last time that happened, back in 2023, Prescott finished second in MVP voting with a league-high 36 touchdowns and 410 completions.

Lamb led the NFL with 135 receptions, posting 1,749 receiving yards and scoring 12 touchdowns.

“I feel like the league knows what happens when I’m healthy, and I have Dak for a whole season,” Lamb said. “But if you don’t, I will happily show you what it’s going to be like this year. Honestly, I’m a dominant receiver.

“I don't like to speak highly of myself, but I can't wait to show you guys.”

Dallas acquired George Pickens in a trade with the Pittsburgh Steelers, giving Lamb more room to operate and, at least on paper, creating a bit more freedom when it comes to the coverage he'll face next season.

Prescott, meanwhile, hasn't appeared in an NFL game since Nov. 3 but is already getting reps with the rest of his teammates ahead of the preseason.
