Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott and wide receiver CeeDee Lamb are not only superstars on the field but also - in terms of their work in the community - superheroes off the field.

The latest example: Prescott and Lamb are serving as role models and figures of inspiration for a young fan named Kaysin, who has a prosthetic leg.

In a heartwarming recent video on social media, Prescott and Lamb made Kaysin’s dream come true when they took the time to meet him and gave him a hand warmer and signed jersey.

Kaysin’s prosthetic leg pays homage to some of Prescott’s arm tattoos by featuring the same designs—particularly “The Dakota Dude.”

“Do you know what his name is?” Prescott asked Kaysin. “Dakota, Dakota Dude, that’s what I was named after. Dak is short for Dakota.”

Moments like the one Prescott and Lamb shared with Kaysin remind us of the true power of sports. While football is an enjoyable sport to consume, the altruism of athletes can get lost in their performance on the field.

Sports have the ability to bring people together and give fans like Kaysin experiences that he will remember for the rest of his life.

Lamb and Prescott are hoping to make Kaysin proud on the field this season by leading the Cowboys back to the playoffs.

As Prescott and Lamb chase greatness on the field, they’ve already achieved greatness in life—becoming real-life heroes and bringing joy to a young fan. For Prescott and Lamb, it’s not all just about touchdowns or victories, but about using their platform to have a positive impact on the next generation.
