Cowboys' Dak Prescott 'pretty much full-go' in OTAs

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott returned to organized team activities Monday for the first time since he suffered the gruesome compound fracture and dislocation of his right ankle playing against the New York Giants on Oct. 11. 

According to Adam Maya of the NFL website, the Cowboys understandably aren't having Prescott face any pass rush at this stage of his recovery to avoid an unfortunate accident, but the 27-year-old continues to insist he is feeling fine ahead of the Memorial Day holiday. 

"I wouldn't say necessarily limited," the two-time Pro Bowl selection explained about his status on Tuesday. "I would just say we are being cautious. ... I'm pretty much full-go."

Prescott remains on track to be a full participant in training camp sessions, and he has said on multiple occasions this spring he could "play a game now" if one was scheduled. He'll have to wait until at least Aug. 5, when the Cowboys face the Pittsburgh Steelers in this year's Hall of Fame Game. 

Dallas opens the regular season Sept. 9 at the defending Super Bowl champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
