The NFL has recognized CeeDee Lamb’s impressive season with the Dallas Cowboys. After initially being overlooked for the 2026 Pro Bowl games, the league named Lamb as a replacement on Wednesday. The 26-year-old wide receiver will take the place of Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who is headed to the Super Bowl with the Seattle Seahawks.

Lamb played 14 games this season for Dallas. He registered 75 catches for 1,077 yards and three touchdowns. The All-Pro wideout was one of the bright spots for the Cowboys in 2025.

Dallas finished the season with a 7-9-1 record. They missed the playoffs for a second straight year.

This will be Lamb’s fifth straight year in the Pro Bowl Games, which will take place on Tuesday in San Francisco, California. The festivities will be held ahead of Super Bowl LX on Sunday, Feb. 8.

The Cowboys took to social media to make an announcement about Lamb’s Pro Bowl selection. The former Oklahoma Sooner star made franchise history with his latest honor.

“CeeDee Lamb’s ( @_CeeDeeThree ) five Pro Bowls are tied with Michael Irvin for the most all-time among Cowboys’ wide receivers,” Dallas Cowboys Public Relations posted on X.

As the post indicates, Lamb also made history by joining teammate George Pickens for the Pro Bowl Games. This marks the first time in Cowboys franchise history that the league selected two of their wide receivers for the Games.

Including Lamb, the Cowboys now have eight Pro Bowlers for 2025. The league named Dak Prescott , Brandon Aubrey, Pickens, Tyler Smith and Quinnen Williams as original selections. Lamb, Jake Ferguson and KaVontae Turpin were selected as replacements.
