Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys are facing an uphill battle on Sunday against the defending champions Philadelphia Eagles. The Cowboys have momentum on their side after a 33-16 win over the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 11, and they are now looking to follow that up with a massive victory over the 8-2 Eagles.

Prescott turned in an incredible performance against the Raiders and is now looking to keep that momentum going in Week 12. In last Sunday’s win over Vegas, the three-time Pro Bowl quarterback registered 25-of-33 completed passes for 268 yards, four touchdowns and zero interceptions.

Prescott kept his foot on the gas against the Eagles on Sunday, en route to rewriting the Cowboys' history books.

Prescott is currently in his 10th season with the Cowboys. He first joined the team in 2016 as a fourth-round pick in the 2016 NFL Draft. Entering the Eagles game, Prescott has already amassed 3,033-of-4,521 completed passes (67.1%) for 34,024 yards and 234 touchdowns.

Prescott further added to his tally on Sunday. This allowed the 32-year-old to set a new franchise record in passing yards.

Prescott’s big moment came at the 13:33 mark of the third quarter. Prescott found wide receiver George Pickens for a nine-yard completion to rewrite the history books. The 32-year-old is now the Cowboys' all-time leader in passing yards with 34,192. He surpassed four-time Pro Bowl QB Tony Romo for the record.

The Cowboys took to social media to make a historic announcement about Prescott’s incredible career milestone.

The Cowboys, however, are down in this one and will need to have a big second half to turn things around. As of writing, the Eagles are up, 21-7, and are on pace to secure their fifth straight win.
