Cowboys' Michael Gallup ruled out after injuring knee on TD catch vs. Cards

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Michael Gallup scored his team's only touchdown of the first half on Sunday in Week 17 against the Arizona Cardinals, but it was a costly one. After the game, the Cowboys confirmed that Gallup suffered a torn ACL, per NFL.com's Ian Rapoport.

Gallup hauled in the 21-yard toss from quarterback Dak Prescott near the front left-corner of the end zone with 1:25 left in the second quarter.

Gallup finished the day with three receptions for 36 yards and the score on four targets. Dallas -- who had already clinched the NFC East with an 11-4 record entering Week 17 -- trailed the Cardinals (10-5) 13-7 at halftime.

Gallup is in his fourth NFL season and came into the contest ranked fifth on the team in targets (58) and receiving yards (409), while registering 32 catches and one touchdown as well.

The Cowboys will play the Philadelphia Eagles -- who defeated the Washington Football Team on Sunday -- in Week 18.
