The Dallas Cowboys are understandably protective of quarterback Dak Prescott as he continues his return from the compound fracture and dislocation of his right ankle he suffered last October.
Those attending Wednesday's training-camp session couldn't help but notice Prescott was held out of multiple drills:

Curiosity turned to concern, however, when Prescott jogged off the field and headed into the locker room:

According to Rob Phillips of the club's website, Prescott was merely dealing with some discomfort in his throwing arm that shouldn't alarm anybody at this stage of the process:
Purely precautionary with Dak, according to the Cowboys. Felt some soreness in his throwing arm and didn’t want to push it with deep throws in today’s practice. Not concerned about it.

Back in March, Prescott and the Cowboys agreed to a four-year contract that could be worth $160 million, and there's little reason for the team to push him eight days ahead of the Hall of Fame Game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Logic suggests coach Mike McCarthy will keep Prescott a spectator that Thursday, but Dallas' QB1 said last week he wants to play in some August preseason matchups.
