While this may have been a tough season for Dak Prescott from a football perspective, the Dallas Cowboys star still has a lot to be thankful for.
Back in February, Prescott and his girlfriend, Sarah Jane Ramos, welcomed their first child, a daughter named Margaret Jane “MJ” Rose Prescott. Then, before the start of the regular season, Prescott signed a contract extension making him the highest-paid quarterback in the NFL.
Later on, during the Cowboys' bye week in October, Prescott and Ramos announced their engagement with their infant daughter by their side.
Now, the longtime couple has more exciting news to share. In a new feature with Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, Prescott and Ramos announced they are expecting their second child, a girl, due May 2025.
“It’s really special to be a female in this world in this day and age and to watch your siblings grow up and be empowered, taking notes and using you as an example, but [also] being themselves and growing into what makes them their own person,” Ramos told SI Swimsuit. “It’s so beautiful to watch and I can’t wait to do the same with MJ and watch Dak become a girl dad, part two. He’s perfect. He’s the best girl dad ever.”
Prescott and Ramos have been together for several years now, with the 31-year-old quarterback popping the question on the golf course in the fall.
"Mine Forever!!!! The Best Friend, Partner, Teammate, Mother, and Now Fiancé I could Ask or Pray for! Thank you God for this Blessing and Family! I Love you @sarahjane 4EVER!" Prescott wrote on Instagram with the news.
Prescott's season came to a premature end last month when he suffered a hamstring injury that required surgery, but he should be healed up in plenty of time for next summer. In the meantime, he'll have his girls to keep him busy.
Congratulations are in order for Dak and Sarah Jane! May they have a beautiful and healthy baby girl next spring.
