Cowboys QB Dak Prescott Makes Announcement After Missing NFL Playoffs

Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys fell short of expectations during the 2025 NFL season, finishing 7-9-1 and missing the playoffs for a second straight year. The season ended with a 34-17 loss to the NFC East rival New York Giants in Week 18, a game in which Prescott did not play in the second half.

Despite the disappointing season, Prescott turned in one of the best years of his 10-year career. The former Mississippi State quarterback completed 404 of 600 passes for 4,552 yards, 30 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. He also guided Dallas to one of the NFL’s top offenses, averaging 391.9 yards per game, second in the league behind the Los Angeles Rams.

Yet the defense was the opposite, allowing a league-worst 251.5 yards per game, leading to Matt Eberflus' firing. Yet, while the Cowboys are already undergoing some major changes to begin the offseason, Prescott is making moves away from football.

Back in 2019, Prescott established his foundation called Faith Fight Finish, which focuses on cancer research and mental health awareness. The foundation was created in honor of his mother Peggy, who passed away in 2013 after a battle with colon cancer.

On Tuesday, Prescott and his foundation announced the release of the ENOUGH bracelet, launched by TOMS founder Blake Mycoskie, with all proceeds benefiting mental health organizations. The nonprofit also offers clothing and other apparel in support of mental health initiatives. Prescott also noted that he wears his own bracelet to honor his late mom.

"Today is the launch of the ENOUGH bracelet," Faith Fight Finish wrote on Instagram. "I wear mine in honor of my mom who always made me feel ENOUGH. 100% of the profits from ENOUGH go to mental health organizations that are saving and transforming lives everyday."

While the Cowboys face an offseason full of uncertainty, Prescott continues to use his platform to make an impact beyond the field.
