Dallas Cowboys running back Tony Pollard may have a slight difference of opinion from head coach Mike McCarthy regarding his foot injury.
It was reported on Thursday morning that Pollard suffered a foot strain during the team's Week 13 victory against the New Orleans Saints. According to ESPN's Ed Werder, McCarthy said the third-year-back — as well as Pro Bowler Ezekiel Elliott — were both expected to play in Week 14. Werder followed up with an update on Pollard's status a few hours later.
Tony Pollard described himself as being a game-time decision Sunday. Coach Mike McCarthy said earlier his expectation is that Pollard and Ezekiel Elliott will play vs WFT.

Such a weird injury. Tearing it is actually better. https://t.co/obTuvpqegt
