Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys couldn’t finish the job against the Green Bay Packers in Micah Parsons’ return to AT&T Stadium, settling for a 40-40 tie on "Sunday Night Football" in Week 4. The Cowboys dropped to 1-2-1 on the season with a Week 5 road matchup against the New York Giants ahead, while the Packers improved to 2-1-1.
Prescott had his best game of the young season despite missing his top wide receiver, CeeDee Lamb, and multiple starting offensive linemen. The former Mississippi State Bulldogs quarterback completed 31-of-40 passes for 319 yards and three touchdowns while adding another score on the ground. However, he couldn't get his team into the end zone in overtime, thus leading to the draw.
For his performance, Prescott has won the Week 4 Himmy Award, an honor voted on by fans and given out by ESPN. To claim the award, a player must "overwhelm the opposition and deliver an exceptional performance that demonstrates he is truly 'Him.'" Prescott (30% of votes) beat out three other Week 4 candidates, including New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart (25%), Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua (25%) and Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver D.K. Metcalf (20%).
Prescott joins Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen (Week 1), Cowboys kicker Brandon Aubrey (Week 2) and Minnesota Vikings cornerback Isaiah Rodgers (Week 3) as this season's recipients.
George Pickens presented Prescott with the hardware on Friday, before the quarterback later broke the trophy.
"Week 4️⃣ belonged to 4️⃣," the Cowboys wrote on X. "@dak was announced as the recipient of the Week 4 Himmy Award!"
