Despite a down year for the Dallas Cowboys, quarterback Dak Prescott put together another statistically strong season in 2025. Prescott started all 15 games, completing 378 of 552 passes (68.5 percent) for 4,175 yards, with 28 touchdowns and 10 interceptions, and averaged 278.3 passing yards per game.
He was often forced to carry Dallas’ offense as the defense struggled throughout the year and delivered several standout performances to keep the team in contention for much of the season. The Cowboys, currently 6-8-1, are out of the playoff picture, extending their streak of missed postseason appearances to two straight seasons.
On Tuesday, the NFL announced its 2026 Pro Bowl Games roster, and Dak Prescott was named to the NFC roster, giving him his fourth career Pro Bowl selection — the most among Cowboys quarterbacks this decade. Prescott joins teammates including wide receiver George Pickens, offensive guard Tyler Smith and placekicker Brandon Aubrey on the NFC roster as the Cowboys placed five players in the Pro Bowl for the second straight season.
The Cowboys reacted to the news, posting a graphic of all their five Pro Bowl selections, with the caption:

Prescott, drafted by Dallas in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft, quickly became the team’s franchise quarterback and a face of the organization. Over his career, he has set multiple Cowboys passing records and been a consistent offensive leader.
Prescott and the Cowboys will look to finish the regular season with at least a .500 record when they host the Washington Commanders in Week 17, with kickoff scheduled for 1:00 p.m. ET on CBS. This final home opportunity gives Dallas a chance to build momentum heading into the offseason.
