Jerry Jones' Dallas Cowboys dropped to 6-6-1 on the season with their 44-30 loss to the Detroit Lions in Week 14. However, that's not the only hit they took from the game.

Dallas, which is currently preparing for a Week 15 matchup against the Minnesota Vikings, received some bad news on Saturday after the NFL announced its punishments for the violations committed during the previous game-week.

Three Dallas players were hit with fines, highlighted by George Pickens' $11,593 punishment. The Cowboys wideout's fine was the result of an unnecessary roughness violation in the second quarter of the Lions game.

To recall, Pickens caught a nine-yard pass from Dak Prescott, but the play was wiped out after the 24-year-old was flagged for a facemask penalty. Dallas was also hit with a 15-yard penalty during the contest.

Full back Hunter Luepke, meanwhile, was docked with an $8,537 fine for unnecessary roughness as well. It was after he led with his helmet when taking down Lions return man Jacob Saylors in the first quarter.

Lastly, the NFL penalized Cowboys defensive end James Houston for his hit on Lions QB Jared Goff in the fourth quarter. Houston was called for roughing the passer during the game, and the league slapped him with a $5,722 fine.

In total, the Cowboys were fined $25,852. It is unknown if any of the players will appeal the NFL's decision.

It's worth noting that Pickens' fine was his sixth of the season, and if he continues to repeat his violations, he could receive a more severe punishment.
