Cowboys Teammate Compares Micah Parsons to Bald NBA Legend

FRISCO — Last week, Micah Parsons and the Dallas Cowboys appeared to be on the verge of a breakthrough with regard to a contract extension. Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones had multiple conversations with Parsons though none of those involved the player's agent.

That messy situation unfolded publicly, making for an apparent roadblock in these discussions. Despite the buzz around that situation, the two sides will likely come to terms within the coming months to keep Parsons at The Star for the foreseeable future.

Now these deals take time and it appears the Cowboys are further along with Parsons than they were with CeeDee Lamb and Dak Prescott a year ago. However, Parsons does not seem to have much interest in waiting too long.

Perhaps in a moment of boredom, Parsons floated out the idea of going bald for next season.

"I think ima play this year bald headed yall." he wrote in a post to X.

This drew in some ridiculous and comical reactions from a few of his teammates, but none more amusing than Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs drawing a comparison to Michael Jordan

The NBA phenom and Pro Basketball Hall of Famer of course played most of his professional career with a shaved head. When speaking on a competitive edge, Parsons already seems to channel some of those characteristics into his game on the field. Maybe Diggs hopes the bald look would enhance those qualities.

Bald or not, Parsons have proven a menace on the field, becoming one of the fastest to reach 50 career sacks this past season. The competitive fire and the results behind it are what have in position to make potentially $200 million on his next contract.

Hopefully, the Cowboys and Parsons' camp can come to terms soon, not only to keep his mind wandering any further, but to also have him positioned to lead the charge at The Star for the next half decade.
