ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports the Cowboys have tendered exclusive rights free agent CB Reddy Steward.
Steward, 24, originally signed on with the Bears as an undrafted free agent out of Troy in May. He was among Chicago’s roster cuts and re-signed with their practice squad.
He was briefly promoted to the Bears’ active roster in November 2024 and signed a futures deal with the Vikings after the season. Minnesota waived Steward after camp last year and he was claimed by Dallas.
In 2025, Steward appeared in all 17 game for the Cowboys and recorded 63 tackles, five tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, three passes defended and one forced fumble.
