The Los Angeles Rams and San Francisco 49ers will square off this Thursday evening in an NFC West showdown. From the looks of things, the weather at Levi's Stadium will be a factor.
Roughly four hours before kickoff, NFL Network's Omar Ruiz shared a video of his suit jacket rocking back and forth on a tripod due to the strong winds in Santa Clara. He wrote, "Kickers checking the flags on the goal posts for conditions tonight? Just check my coat lol should be a great night for football at Levi’s Stadium between the 49ers and Rams."
It was only an eight-second clip from Ruiz, but it was pretty effective. If the wind continues to be this strong, there's a good chance the 49ers and Rams will be a bit more aggressive on fourth down.

The Rams have leaned on rookie kicker Joshua Karty quite a bit this season. So far, the Stanford product has connected on 17-of-22 field goal attempts.
Jake Moody of the 49ers, meanwhile, has dealt with a few ups and downs over the past two seasons. The former third-round pick from Michigan received a lot of backlash on Nov. 10 when he missed three field goal attempts. Overall, he has made 20-of-26 attempts this season.
During the first meeting between the 49ers and Rams, Kyle Shanahan's squad blew a 10-point lead in the fourth quarter. It was a devastating loss for San Francisco.
The 49ers could really help their chances in the NFC playoff race with a win tonight over the Rams. A loss would essentially put the postseason out of reach.
The Rams, on the other hand, are trying to get to two games above .500 for the first time this season.
Kickoff for the Rams-49ers game is at 8:15 p.m. ET. It'll be streamed exclusively on Prime Video.
