It is a good time to be a Chicago Bears fan. The nine-time NFL champions had their best season in a while last year. The Bears finished with an 11-6 record, and they won their first NFC North title since the 2018 season.
The Bears beat their bitter rivals, the Green Bay Packers, in the Wild Card Round of the NFL playoffs. Unfortunately, they failed to add a 10th title after losing to the Los Angeles Rams in the Divisional Round.
Despite that, the future is looking bright for the Bears, led by their young quarterback, Caleb Williams. The 2022 Heisman Trophy winner is the cornerstone of the Bears’ offense.
Williams had a memorable rookie year for Chicago. He set the franchise record for most passing yards in a season by a rookie with 3,541. Williams also had 351 completions and 20 touchdowns. However, he had 68 sacks in his first year, the most in Bears history.
The first overall pick of the 2024 NFL Draft bounced back in his second year. Williams set a franchise record for most passing yards in a single season with 3,942. He also had 27 touchdowns en route to leading the Bears to their best season in seven years.
Bears fans are known to be a loyal bunch. The team’s 105-year history has produced fans from multiple generations of Chicagoans.
Most recently, a Chicago fan celebrated the birth of his newborn son by showing him highlights of Williams.
The video had a caption saying “Just 12 hours old.” It also said, “Getting him started early.”
