It was another frustrating night for the Dallas Cowboys' fans as the team went 3-5-1. The Arizona Cardinals won 27-17 at the AT&T Stadium.

Dak Prescott threw 24-of-39 for 250 yards, one touchdown and an interception. Jacoby Brissett was 21-of-31 for 261 yards with two touchdowns. Marvin Harrison Jr. had seven catches for 96 yards.

After the game, Prescott revealed more concerning news. He said his ankle was rolled up just before the end of the first half, per Tommy Yarrish's report. However, Prescott downplayed the injury, noting the Cowboys have a bye week and that he’ll be “more than great”. “I’m fine, body’s great,” he added.

Regarding the game Dallas played, Prescott's blunt assessment was noted by Jon Machota of The Athletic: "They kicked our ass on both sides of the ball. … Very frustrating."

Game tape and the box score back the blunt verdict. After a blocked punt touchdown, Dallas allowed lengthy Arizona drives that changed the momentum. Prescott’s lone touchdown came late and the Cowboys were ineffective on fourth down. The ankle incident briefly slowed Prescott late in the half, but he returned and finished the game.

Owner Jerry Jones also dropped some news on the side. Management was in dire need to add defensive support and as per his words, they've managed to execute a trade but the details were not revealed.

"A lot of action going on right now in terms of trading," Jones said on "The Stephen A. Smith Show" on SiriusXM Radio. "We certainly have made a trade, and we may make a couple more trades before that deadline. We've made one. We possibly could make two more, and I'm going to wait and let you read about that when we send the papers in tomorrow."

"Immediately, it will have them on the field, and it will address some of the things that have been our shortcomings," Jones added.
