Dak Prescott is looking to lead the Dallas Cowboys into the offseason with their heads held high after missing the NFL playoffs.

The Cowboys have two games left in the season and have been adamant about keeping their foot on the gas to earn a victory before the season ends.

Ahead of their Christmas Day game against the Washington Commanders, the Cowboys shared some major news in the injury report regarding offensive lineman Tyler Guyton.

Before playing the Commanders in Week 17, the Cowboys announced that Guyton has been placed on injured reserve.

Guyton is now ruled out for the rest of the season as the Cowboys finish off with two games, dueling against the Commanders and New York Giants.

In Tyler Guyton's roster replacement, the Dallas Cowboys signed defensive back Corey Ballentine from the practice squad.

Guyton has been dealing with several injures throughout the season, most notably an ankle injury that placed him on injured reserve. The Cowboys star missed Week 5 due to a concussion and later missed Weeks 13 to 15 with an ankle injury.

The loss of Guyton leave Dak Prescott in a difficult position for the Cowboys' final two games of the season.

Prescott will be missing a key member of the offensive line, having to play extremely talented defense in the Dallas Cowboys' route to get back in the win column.

The Cowboys star will be up against Pro Bowl defensive end Brian Burns, rookie sensation Abdul Carter and one of the most underrated linebacker in the NFL , Frankie Luvu.
