Dak Prescott led the Dallas Cowboys to their third win of the 2025 NFL season in Week 7, taking down the Washington Commanders 44-22 and jumping to 3-3-1. Now, Prescott and the Cowboys turn their attention to Week 8, looking for their second straight win when they travel to face Bo Nix and the Denver Broncos.

Prescott got a major boost in the win over his NFC East rival when top pass-catcher CeeDee Lamb and rookie guard Tyler Booker returned from injury. With his offense nearly intact, Prescott turned in one of his best performances of the year, throwing for 264 yards and three touchdowns. However, he was still missing one of his starting offensive linemen.

Center Cooper Beebe has been one of Prescott’s most reliable offensive linemen during his two seasons with the Cowboys. However, after playing in the first two games of 2025, Beebe went down in Week 2 against the New York Giants with an ankle sprain and a minor foot fracture. The injuries forced the Cowboys to place him on injured reserve, sidelining him for the next five games.

Dallas opened Beebe’s 21-day practice window following the win over Washington, and he was a limited participant throughout the week. However, after being listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against Denver, Beebe will not be activated and has now been ruled out, leaving Prescott without his starting center once again.

"Cooper Beebe’s return will take another week with a source saying the center will not be activated off injured reserve for Sunday’s game at Denver," ESPN's Todd Archer wrote on X. "Brock Hoffman continues as the starter. RB Malik Davis and CB Corey Ballentine will be elevated from the practice squad."

Prescott and the Cowboys will take on the Broncos (5-2) on Sunday at 4:25 p.m. ET on CBS.
