The Dallas Cowboys have had a rocky 2025 season thus far. They have gone 3-5-1 through their first nine games. Despite their struggles, quarterback Dak Prescott has not been the team's main issue.

Prescott has had another solid year as the signal caller of "America's Team," as he has completed 69.3% of his passes for 2,319 yards and 17 touchdowns with six interceptions. The three-time Pro Bowler has also scored once on the ground.

Despite their struggles on the field, the biggest story surrounding the Cowboys' season came off the field with the death of defensive end Marshawn Kneeleand. Kneeland, 24, died on Nov. 6 due to a self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to a Frisco, Texas, police report.

Prescott and the Cowboys will take the field for the first time since Kneeland's death on "Monday Night Football" against the Las Vegas Raiders.

Before this game, the Cowboys announced a gesture for the late Kneeland, as the team wore shirts honoring him during pregame warmups.

As Prescott and the rest of Dallas' team got on the field on Monday, the NFL captured the players honoring their late teammate with an X post.

"@dak and the @dallascowboys are honoring their late teammate Marshawn Kneeland with these pregame shirts tonight," the NFL's caption read.

On Friday, Prescott, whose brother died from suicide in 2020, said that focusing on football and playing in Monday's game is "the best medicine for me," according to NBC's Andrew Greif.

The Cowboys will suit up without Kneeland for the first time this season on Monday against the Raiders at 8:15 p.m. ET at Allegiant Stadium on ABC and ESPN.
