Dak Prescott Doesn't Hold Back on Being Pulled During Cowboys-Bears

The start of the Dallas Cowboys 2025 NFL season has been anything but ordinary. After trading away arguably their best player in Micah Parsons, the Cowboys have struggled. They now hold a record of 1-2, and of the teams that have played three games, they rank dead last in yards allowed per game (397.7).

Week 3's matchup with the Chicago Bears came off a Cowboys' overtime victory over the New York Giants in Week 2. And just as the Cowboys' flight from Dallas to Chicago was delayed, it appears their performance was delayed as well.

They got down early, giving up an early touchdown after an opening-drive fumble of their own, and the Bears would capture their first win of the season 31-14. While Dak Prescott did his best to keep his team in the game, even with star wide receiver, CeeDee Lamb leaving the game early with an ankle injury, this game remained out of reach for much of the second half.

Dak Prescott Reveals Feelings on Being Pulled From Game Against Bears

The game was so out of reach that Prescott joined his WR on the sideline during the fourth quarter. Prescott wasn't pulled due to injury, however, for the game being out of reach.

Following the game, Prescott was asked how he felt about being pulled from the game during the fourth quarter.

"Yeah for sure, I mean obviously I want every rep. I'm never happy about being pulled out, but you have to realistic and professional about where the game was," Prescott told reporters.

While Prescott didn't get pulled until just under five minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, following his second interception of the game, the Cowboys struggled with and without him. The Cowboys failed to score a single point in the second half against the Bears.

The Cowboys next test will come in Week 4, at home, when they host the Green Bay Packers. The Packers are coming off their first loss of the season to the Cleveland Browns.

The NFL world will await word on Lamb's injury to see if Prescott will have his All-Pro WR on the field with him next week.
