Dak Prescott Had Immediate Reaction To Cowboys' Blockbuster Trade

The Dallas Cowboys have been leaning heavily on Dak Prescott and their offense this season. On Tuesday, however, the front office gave their defense some much-needed firepower.

Shortly after suffering a loss to the Arizona Cardinals on "Monday Night Football," the Cowboys acquired linebacker Logan Wilson from the Cincinnati Bengals in exchange for a 2026 seventh-round pick.

Several hours later, Dallas acquired All-Pro defensive lineman Quinnen Williams from the New York Jets in exchange for a 2026 second-round pick, a 2027 first-round pick and former Michigan star Mazi Smith.

Williams has racked up 322 tackles, 40 sacks and eight forced fumbles since being selected by the Jets in the 2019 NFL Draft. There's no question he'll immediately help the Cowboys when it comes to stopping the run.

Dak is fired up.

While at the Cowboys' facility this Tuesday afternoon, Prescott was asked about the defense adding Williams to the mix. He made it clear he already approves of his new teammate.

"I'm f---ing pumped," Prescott told Nick Harris of Fort Worth Star-Telegram. "You can quote me on that."

The Cowboys have given up 30.8 points per game this season. We'd have to imagine Williams and Wilson will help them provide more resistance.

Since the Cowboys are on their bye this week, fans will have to wait until Nov. 17 to see Williams in action.
