Dak Prescott’s brother Tad bizarrely claims the Cowboys QB will have a worse season than last year
Kevin Jairaj-USA TODAY Sports

Tad Prescott predicted that his brother, Dak Prescott , would not have the same success as last year. Using FaceTime, Tad joined the I Am Athlete podcast and spoke on several subjects, but most importantly, he discussed Dak’s future with the Dallas Cowboys.

Worse. I am a realist. The only reason I am going to say worse is because, in order for him to be better, he [needs to be] an MVP, he’s a 1st Team All-Pro, and he’s a Super Bowl champion. Tad Prescott told the show’s host

He does have a point. Dak Prescott arguably had the best season of his NFL career since his rookie campaign. The new father led the league in pass completion with 410 for 4516 passing yards and the league-best 36 passing touchdowns.

Dak's second in MVP voting, second Team All Pro, and leader in touchdown passes [in the 2023 season]. So the only way you can get better than that is to do what I just said. Tad Prescott added

Tad Prescott’s brother has been vocal about Dak Prescott

The Cowboy Nation isn’t happy with Jerry Jones , and one can surmise that with Tad Prescott’s reaction to how the Cowboys have been doing business in free agency. Jones promised before March 13 that he was ‘all-in’ to make the Cowboys roster stronger than last season.

However, besides re-signing a few players and the addition of linebacker Eric Kendricks , Arlington has only seen major departures (Tyron Smith , Tony Pollard ) and important targets (Derrick Henry , Saquon Barkley ) slip out of hand. Prescott slammed Jones for not actively adding players.

When the Cowboys missed the chance to sign Saquon Barkley, Prescott took a jab, writing on X (formerly Twitter),

So, if it wasn't clear already, it is now. The Philadelphia Eagles have the best front office in the NFL. Tad Prescott wrote

Stephen A. Smith wasn’t too pleased with Tad Prescott’s nagging on social media.

I'm sick of him, and everybody should be sick of him. And I'm going to tell you, Tad Prescott, why everybody should be sick of you and you should shut the hell up: because you're implying that your brother [Dak Prescott] had nothing to do with the troubles that the Dallas Cowboys have experienced. Stephan A Smith said on First Take.

It wasn’t nearly enough to put a stop to Prescott sharing his thoughts. Sports Illustrated revealed that he wants the three-time Pro Bowler out of the Dallas Cowboys.
