Say what you want about the Dallas Cowboys, but they have drafted well in recent years. While the team has struggled in free agency, or in some cases, declined to participate, they experienced regular season success as of late due to hits in the NFL Draft. Who did the Dallas Cowboys draft this year to help bolster their roster?

While some teams expected the Cowboys to draft a running back at No. 12 overall, Booker was the better selection. The Cowboys used to have one of the NFL’s best offensive lines, but some of the key players are no longer with the team. Zack Martin and Tyron Smith, two future Hall of Famers, retired this offseason. Booker will look to anchor the team’s offensive line with the key pieces from years past no longer part of the equation.

The Dallas Cowboys doubled down on its strength by selecting Ezeiruaku. Dallas got great value by selecting the BC product in this round. He is coming off a great season with Boston College. He was named the ACC’s Defensive Player of the Year and was named an All-American. He will team up with Micah Parsons to create one of the league’s most formidable pass-rushing duos.

Revel Jr’s selection was another example of the Dallas Cowboys getting great value. He will play in the secondary alongside one of the best cornerback duos in the league, DaRon Bland and Trevon Diggs. Even though he suffered a torn ACL in his final collegiate season, he will be fully healthy for his rookie season expecting to make an immediate impact.

The Dallas Cowboys should be very happy with how the 2025 NFL Draft unfolded. Jerry Jones has done well in the draft in the past. 2025 was no different. The team’s major issues, running back and offensive tackle were adequately addressed over the last three days. The Dallas Cowboys will go as far Quarterback Dak Prescott takes them. He was hurt in 2024 and it limited the team’s effectiveness.
