The Dallas Cowboys aren’t the first team you think of when offensive line inadequacies are mentioned. They had one of the best passing offenses during the 2023 regular season, so it would be weird to imagine them struggling to get things going on the offensive line.

However, their running game leaves a lot to be desired even though Tony Pollard played well for them. Now that even Pollard has left Arlington, Jerry Jones has a big problem in finding solutions to their O-line. Moreover, two of their starting linemen left the team in free agency.

One analyst is making a good recommendation for Jones for potential additions that would improve their team’s ability to battle in the trenches. While the Cowboys can still go another way, these suggestions provide an intriguing narrative.

Bradley Bozeman should be a prime free-agent acquisition for the Dallas Cowboys

Reid Hanson of Cowboys Wire suggested that the recently-released Bradley Bozeman should do the job when it comes to upgrading the team at center.

The former Carolina Panther will be a perfect replacement for Tyler BIadasz who has gone to division rivals Washington in free agency. The 29-year-old played in every game for the Panthers last season, and his 96 career starts with the Panthers and Baltimore Ravens make him an experienced talent who can play with the best the NFL has to offer.

Amarius Mims could be the answer at left tackle

With no solid prospects in the free-agent market to replace Tyron Smith, the Dallas Cowboys have no choice but to go through the draft. While the quality of the left tackles in this class isn’t that deep, Hanson suggests using their top pick in the draft to select Amarius Mims, a player who could make a huge impact on the Cowboys’ roster.

“Amarius Mims is an OT prospect with one of the highest ceilings in his class. With just eight games of experience, he also has a relatively low floor. The inexperienced Georgia product comes to the NFL with elite size and skill. It wouldn’t be surprising in the least if he became the best of his class when all is said and done. He comes with a fair amount of risk which is why he’s also projected to slip into the 20s.”

While Mims’ limited game time is definitely a problem, he has the necessary tools to succeed in the NFL. As long as the Cowboys are locked in on his development, there’s no reason he wouldn’t become a pillar for the Cowboys’ pass and run games.
