Dallas Cowboys Could Look To Make Major Trade With Titans
Andrew Nelles / The Tennessean / USA TODAY NETWORK

The Dallas Cowboys are in need of some wide receiver help behind CeeDee Lamb, and they could turn to the Tennessee Titans for some help.

Marcus Mosher of Pro Football Focus has named Titans wide out Treylon Burks as a potential target for the Cowboys if Burks is moved during the NFL Draft.

Burks has been a major disappointment in Tennessee.

The 24-year-old, who played his collegiate football at the University of Arkansas, was selected by the Titans with the 23rd overall pick of the 2022 NFL Draft.

He played in 11 games during his rookie campaign, catching 33 passes for 444 yards and a touchdown. The following season, Burks was even less productive, logging just 16 catches for 221 yards in 11 contests.

Tennessee drafted Burks after trading fellow receiver A.J. Brown, who had already established himself as a star on the NFL level. The Titans did not want to pay Brown long term and were hoping that Burks could serve as a potential replacement, but that has not worked out thus far.

Burks spent three years at Arkansas, with his best season coming during his junior campaign when he hauled in 66 receptions for 1,104 yards and 11 scores.

Obviously, he has been unable to reach that type of production on the professional level, although, in his defense, he hasn’t exactly had the best quarterback situation in Tennessee.

Perhaps a change of scenery would do Burks a world of good, and catching passes from Dak Prescott would certainly be an upgrade from what he had with the Titans.

We’ll see if the Cowboys are able to strike a deal for Burks in the coming days.
