Dallas Cowboys To Draft Xavier Worthy?
USA TODAY Sports

The Dallas Cowboys already hit the jackpot in drafting a University of Texas star in this past draft in linebacker DeMarvion Overshown, and one of the latest mock drafts has them dipping back into the Longhorn pool.

Going into this spring, there had been many discussions as to who will be the second guy behind CeeDee Lamb for the Cowboys. Michael Gallup has shown flashes of being "that guy" but has also missed a handful of games over the past couple of years. Worthy (6-1, 172) is ranked as the No. 50 prospect in the class, and the No. 8 wide receiver according to CBS Sports. He offers blazing speed and elite route-running but has been plagued with some drop issues. However, he has still been one of the more productive pass catchers in the country.

Throughout his career thus far, Worthy has hauled in 134 catches for over 1,900 yards, and 22 touchdowns. Scouts say he has an innate ability to get open and if the evaluation is right, could add to one of the best receivers rooms in the NFL,
