The Dallas Cowboys (3-1-1) have released their list of inactives for Sunday’s Week 8 road game against the Denver Broncos (5-2). Notably, left tackle Tyler Guyton is active after popping up on Thursday’s injury report with a glute injury.
Guyton, the Cowboys’ 2024 first-round selection out of Oklahoma, has started six games for the Cowboys this season. He missed the Week 5 win over the New York Jets (0-7) with a concussion. Guyton has allowed one sack in 259 pass block snaps, according to Pro Football Focus.
Guyton’s status is good news for the Cowboys’ offense. Their secondary, however, will be shorthanded. Safeties Juanyeh Thomas (migraines) and Donovan Wilson (elbow/shoulder) are out. Cornerback Trevon Diggs (concussion) was placed on injured reserve Saturday.
Diggs had an accident in his home earlier this month which resulted in him suffering a concussion. While he missed last Sunday’s game against the Washington Commanders (3-4), head coach Brian Schottenheimer initially said he expected Diggs to be OK.
Before Sunday, Diggs had played in every game after spending training camp on the physically unable to perform list following surgery he had on his left knee in January. The former Alabama standout has tallied 20 tackles, one tackle for loss and two PBUs this season.
