Dan Graziano rips Aaron Rodgers on ESPN radio, calls him ‘a liar and con-artist’

ESPN NFL insider Dan Graziano ripped Aaron Rodgers on Unsportsmanlike Wednesday morning. Rodgers received a ton of attention for his feud with Jimmy Kimmel and recent Pat McAfee Show appearances.

Rodgers is now done for the year on McAfee, until next season. The Jets quarterback made a lot of headlines off the field since he was lost for the season on the opening drive back in September.

Graziano had just about enough of him though, calling him out.

“Just in terms of around the league I think Aaron’s sort of living down to his reputation in a lot of ways as an attention hungry, you know, self absorbed individual,” Graziano said. “You hear a lot of things about how he’s been in the Jets building since he got there and they’re positive. You know, con-artists can be very convincing. I think if he’s got the Jets fooled about who he is, then that’s too bad for them and eventually they’ll pay the price for it. But he’s obviously a liar and a narcissistic con-artist who is bad for everything he touches and I think ultimately the Jets will pay the price.”

Nevertheless, the latest drama was simply a lot for McAfee and company to handle, so it isn’t exactly unwelcome news that his weekly spot is over for now.

“The way it ended, it got real loud, real loud,” McAfee said, regarding the former NFL MVP’s last couple of appearances on his show. “I’m happy that is not going to be my mentions going forward, which is great news.”

What will Aaron Rodgers say next? It looks like we’ll have to wait awhile to find out. For now, Pat McAfee and ESPN are simply relieved to have him off their airwaves for a couple of months, it seems.

Now, we’re just waiting for Rodgers to call out Graziano in more ESPN on ESPN crime! In all seriousness, Rodgers doesn’t care but certainly likes the attention and headlines that come with his appearances.
Perhaps the well liked, and well disliked quarterback, will respond on social media or wait til he has more ammo on Graziano, so to speak. Rodgers already took shots at ESPN Senior VP Mike Foss Tuesday.

“I don’t understand Mike Foss’ comment because he didn’t help out either,” Rodgers said Tuesday. “And I’m going to quote Mike Foss. He said ‘Aaron made a dumb and factually incorrect joke about Jimmy Kimmel. It should never have happened. We all realized that in the moment.’

“Mike, you’re not helping. You’re not helping because I just read earlier exactly what I said. So this is the game plan of the media. And this is what they do. They try and cancel. It’s not just me …”
