Dan Orlovsky's future at ESPN is a bit of an unknown at this time, but he's still playing a huge role in the network's coverage of the 2025 NFL Draft.
Orlovsky played in the NFL from 2005-2017, throwing for 3,132 yards with 15 touchdowns and 13 interceptions. He agreed to a contract with ESPN in 2018 to help out the network with its college football and NFL coverage. In 2020, he was named one of the top analysts for ESPN's "NFL Live."
Since Orlovsky's contract with ESPN is set to expire this summer, there's a chance he could leave for another network. Following Super Bowl LIX, he delivered a fairly cryptic message about his future.
"I'm taking a break, won't be on TV for a long time... never know what the future holds but I'm taking a break," Orlovsky said. "Just want to say thank you. Appreciate you guys so much."
Despite the uncertainty surrounding his contract with ESPN, Orlovsky has been working awfully hard this week.
Orlovsky appeared on "Get Up" and "First Take" this Friday to share his thoughts on what went down in the first round of the draft. Most of the conversations taking place on TV centered around Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders and his unfortunate slide down the draft board.
With the NFL Draft set to resume this Friday night, Orlovsky is expected to provide more analysis for ESPN.
Orlovsky delivered this message ahead of Day 2 of the draft: "Never take for granted."
That social media post from Orlovsky has fans convinced that he hasn't received an offer from ESPN just yet. Perhaps that'll change after the draft.
In the meantime, Orlovsky will keep on plugging away for ESPN.
