Everyone who knows Dan Quinn knows how passionate he is and how good he is at communicating and befriending his players, even when they're much, much younger than him.
So it was no surprise the Washington Commanders head coach had the perfect message for Salisbury University graduates when he took the stage as a special commencement speaker for his alma mater on Thursday.
Quinn's speech ended with a message that perfectly describes his attitude and approach to life, producing a clip that's quickly making the rounds on the internet.
"Which leads me back to where we started and the four words I wish I was told when I was in your chair and now I live by, ladies and gentlemen of Salisbury University's Class of 2025, let it (expletive) rip!," Quinn said.

What a better way to talk from the heart from Quinn. That's the kind of speeches that are remembered by college graduates and while funny, it is also wise advice.
Quinn is entering is second year as head coach for the Commanders after leading them to the NFC Championship Game last season but long before his coaching career even began, he was a standout at then Salisbury State University.
Among his many feats—which landed him in the Salisbury University Athletic Hall of Fame in 2005—Quinn was a four-year letter winner and a two-time co-captain defensive lineman, per the University's statement. He also lettered in track and field and held the school record in hammer throw when he graduated.
There's a high likelihood Quinn's message to Salisbury University graduates is similar to whatever he's telling his players as the Commanders gear up for the season in OTAs.
Fortunately for them, Jayden Daniels does let it rip. A lot. As long as he's playing quarterback, Quinn has a chance of taking his team to Super Bowl contention once again.
