Danhausen Has Officially Uncursed the Miami Dolphins

For decades, Miami Dolphins fans have searched for answers.

Was it bad coaching? Poor draft picks? Injuries? The salary cap? The mythical Curse of the Tequesta?

Well, forget all of that.

The answer may have finally arrived, courtesy of one very nice, very evil professional wrestler.

This week, WWE superstar Danhausen officially “uncursed” the Miami Dolphins in a video that aired on the official DolphinsTalk Twitter page, after the owner of DolphinsTalk.com, Mike Oliva, asked him to lift whatever supernatural force has seemingly haunted the franchise for decades. Mainly stemming from the “Curse of the Tequesta” and Hard Rock Stadium being built on an Indian burial ground.

The video quickly spread across social media, with Dolphins fans embracing the moment during the quietest part of the NFL offseason.

And honestly…why not?

Dolphins Fans Will Try Anything

It’s been over 50 years since the Dolphins last won a Super Bowl.

Since then, fans have endured heartbreaking playoff losses, quarterback injuries, coaching changes, rebuilds, and enough “this is our year” seasons to fill an entire stadium.

If you’re a Dolphins fan, you’ve probably developed at least one superstition along the way.

Lucky jerseys.

Lucky seats.

Never washing the game-day shirt during a winning streak.

Watching the fourth quarter standing up.

So adding “Danhausen has uncursed the Dolphins” to the list doesn’t seem all that crazy.

The Danhausen Effect

This isn’t the first time Danhausen has become part of the sports world.

Earlier this year, his “uncursing” of the New York Knicks became a viral sensation after New York went on an incredible run to capture its first NBA championship in more than five decades. Hockey fans also jokingly credited him after the Carolina Hurricanes reversed their fortunes following an “uncursing” campaign. Those stories have only added to the legend surrounding Danhausen’s bizarre sports magic.

Now it’s Miami’s turn.

Could his mystical powers finally end one of the NFL’s longest championship droughts?

Logic says no.

The internet says absolutely.

Maybe This Is Exactly What Dolphins Fans Needed

The NFL offseason can drag on forever.

Training camp hasn’t started.

Meaningful football is still weeks away.

Speculation dominates every conversation.

That’s what makes stories like this so much fun.

For one brief moment, Dolphins fans weren’t arguing about the offensive line, debating quarterback rankings, or discussing salary-cap space. Instead, everyone was laughing together over the idea that a professional wrestler may have finally broken whatever curse has followed the franchise for half a century.

Sports are supposed to be fun.

This certainly qualifies.

The Real Test Begins Soon

Of course, Danhausen’s Cameo won’t block a pass rush.

It won’t force turnovers.

It won’t help convert third-and-short.

Only the players and coaches can determine what happens during the 2026 season.

But if Miami finally hoists the Lombardi Trophy in the coming years,…

Don’t be surprised if Danhausen gets an honorary ring.

Or at least a standing ovation at Hard Rock Stadium.

Until proven otherwise, Dolphins fans have every reason to believe one thing:

The curse is gone.

The vibes are immaculate.

And the road to a Super Bowl Championship has officially begun.

Very nice.

Very evil.

Very…Fins Up.
