Daniel Jones joins Peyton Manning with another incredible feat

The Indianapolis Colts advance to an 8-2 record after defeating the Atlanta Falcons 31-25 in Week 10. It was another impressive performance for running back Jonathan Taylor. However, it appears that quarterback Daniel Jones quietly accomplished a feat not seen in Indy since Peyton Manning.

Reports indicate that Jones’ 255 passing yards on Sunday was the 10th consecutive time to surpass the 200-yard mark in a game. Jones and Manning are now the only Colts quarterbacks to ever throw for 200 yards or more in the team’s first 10 games of a season, according to the organization’s Vice President of Football Communications, Matt Conti.

“Daniel Jones has thrown for over 200 yards in every game this season. He joins Peyton Manning as the only Colts quarterback to do so in the team’s first 10 games. It marked his third career game recording at least 250 passing yards and 50 rushing yards.”

After a rocky six years with the New York Giants, the 28-year-old quarterback seems to have finally found where he belongs with Indianapolis. Through his 10 games played as the starting quarterback, Jones has recorded 2,659 passing yards, 20 total touchdowns (15 passing), and a 69.9% completion percentage.

It’s been a redemption season for Daniel Jones, as Indianapolis is red-hot through 10 games. The front office took advantage of the team’s standings at the deadline, as the Colts traded for Sauce Gardner from the New York Jets. This roster is primed for a playoff spot right now, as long as things maintain the course.

Daniel Jones and the Colts will have a bye in Week 11 before returning to action in Week 12 when they take on the Kansas City Chiefs. That should be a tough matchup, as Kansas City has won three of its last four games.
