When the Dallas Cowboys take on the Chicago Bears this week, they will do so without DaRon Bland. The star cornerback will miss the matchup due to a foot injury.
Bland did not practice this week, meaning he will not be available Sunday. The other three players on the injury report – cornerback Trevon Diggs, offensive lineman Tyler Guyton and wide receiver Kavontae Turpin – will all be able to play and do not have injury designations.
The Cowboys and Bears will kick off Sunday at 4:25 p.m. ET on FOX. Here is the full injury report for both teams, as released Friday.

Without an injury designation, Trevon Diggs is officially a go for Sunday’s game. He appeared on Wednesday’s injury report with an illness, but did not practice as a result. However, he practiced in full both Thursday and Friday, meaning he will be good to go for the game in Chicago.
The Cowboys are also hoping to have their newest addition on defense available when they take on the Bears at Soldier Field. Jadeveon Clowney signed with Dallas earlier this week, though it’s still unclear if he’ll make his team debut in Week 3. While awaiting clarity, he made it clear he’s ready to go if defensive coordinator Matt Eberflus calls his number.
“Whatever they have planned, I’m just looking forward to the opportunity to get out therel,” Clowney said. “Man, I’ve done this a few times.”
Sunday also marks Eberflus’ return to Chicago for the first time since his departure as Bears head coach last season. He spent nearly three full seasons with the franchise after arriving in 2022, but became the first head coach in team history to be let go mid-year. While he didn’t discuss his return too much, Eberflus expressed gratitude for his time with the Bears and the lessons learned.
“We’re keeping our process and our preparation the same as we always do,” Eberflus said. “I’m always grateful, I have much gratitude for my whole coaching career. I always look back at anything how you can learn, how you can grow, and get better and improve, and that’s the biggest part of experience, and that’s what we’re doing there.”
