Daron Payne gives a gruesome update on his injury he suffered during win over Buccaneers

The Washington Commanders are in incredibly high spirits after their Wild Card win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. They had an injury scare during the victory that concerned plenty of fans, though.

Defensive lineman Daron Payne suffered a clear hand injury but later returned to action against the Bucs. After the game, everyone got a firsthand update on his status regarding the injury.

Daron Payne suffered an injury against Tampa Bay but returned in the second half. After the game, he posted a gruesome picture of his hand injury.

For Payne, the injury is one that probably looks a bit worse than it actually is when it comes to his availability going forward. It was and is certainly painful for the lineman who can change a game for Washington.

That being said, it's possible he tries to play through it next weekend, similarly to how he did this week. Expect a notable update on his status this week during practice for the Commanders.
