When the New York Jets traded for wide receiver Davante Adams from the Las Vegas Raiders, many hoped it would be the spark the offense needs.
However, the Jets seemed to have been in just too big a hole, and since joining, the Jets are just 1-6 and will move their playoff drought to 14 straight years when the season ends.
Of course, one of the biggest reasons for the trade was because of quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who played with Adams for eight years in Green Bay.
With rumors of Rodgers wanting out of New York and the front office wanting to move on from Adams, the possibility that the two only have four games left together has been raised, and Adams was asked about that on the "Up & Adams Show."
"We just gonna... I mean, it'll be a sad thing for sure, but hopefully that's not the case," he said. "That's why we gotta make the most of these ones that we have here."

If it does mean that this connection never sees each other on the same side of the field again, then it will be a shame.
Including the playoffs, Rodgers and Adams have the fourth-most touchdowns between a QB and WR duo ever with 79, trailing Dan Marino and Mark Clayton by just three.
During their years in Green Bay, Rodgers won three MVPs and was named to seven Pro Bowls. Adams had a lot of his own personal success; he was a Pro Bowler five times and All-Pro twice.
The two will go down as having one of the greatest connections in NFL history.
