DeAndre Hopkins quotes Kawhi Leonard in first message to Cardinals fans

DeAndre Hopkins wants the state of Arizona to know he is a fun guy.

In his first message to Cardinals fans since being acquired in a trade from the Houston Texans, the All-Pro receiver went full Kawhi Leonard, complete with a resounding “What it do baby?”

Hopkins, who had 104 receptions for 1,165 yards and seven touchdowns last season, was dealt to the Cardinals in exchange for a package centered around running back David Johnson and a 2020 second-round pick.

Hopkins had spent the first seven years of his career in Houston and will now be getting a fresh start.

While there was some apparent bad blood that seemed to spur Hopkins’ exit in Houston, it is all love in Arizona.
