DeAndre Hopkins trying to recruit Julio Jones to Cardinals

DeAndre Hopkins says he would restructure contract for Cardinals to get Julio Jones

Every team in the NFL would love to add a superstar wide receiver like Julio Jones, whom the Atlanta Falcons reportedly would like to trade. However, only a few clubs have the cap room to make a deal happen.

The Cardinals already have a superstar receiver in DeAndre Hopkins, but he tweeted on Friday afternoon that he would absolutely restructure his contract if Jones could come to Arizona.

Trading for Jones would be difficult for the Cardinals even if Hopkins agrees to restructure his contract. Still, imagining Hopkins, Jones and A.J. Green on the same roster is enough to get fans drooling.

As ESPN mentions, the top destinations for Jones are the New England Patriots, San Francisco 49ers, Indianapolis Colts and Las Vegas Raiders. The 32-year-old would be a star in any of those offenses after recording six consecutive seasons of 1,000-plus yards from 2014-19.
