Anyone that has followed him or his career throughout the years won't be shocked to hear this, but turns out - yet again - Deion Sanders and his hypocritical "preaching" from his pulpit have been caught in a lie.
In a March interview that surfaced this week, the father of new Cleveland Browns' rookie Shedeur Sanders emphatically said that he wants - and is steadfastly praying for - his son to be drafted by not the Browns but rather the New York Giants.
As a keynote speaker at the March 19 conference, Deion was asked by an interview moderator what team he wanted to draft Shedeur.
Interviewer: "Cleveland?"
Deion: "What'd you say?"
Interviewer: "Cleveland?"
Deion: Chuckles (The entire audience then laughs with him)
Deion: "We are praying for the Giants right now. Yes we are."
Praying for the Giants.

Of course a month later Shedeur was passed by the Giants - in part because he reportedly was ill-prepared and arrogant during a pre-draft meeting with New York - multiple times before sliding out of the first round all the way to the Browns in the fifth round.
Immediately after the draft, Deion - and all of "Team Sanders" - pretended to be thrilled that the quarterback was taken by the Browns. Wrote Deion on his social media in response to a fan asking his thoughts about Shedeur going to Cleveland, he wrote:
"God is good."
So you tell a conference you're "praying for the Giants" but then tell the world "God is good" when your son instead goes to the Browns, who laughingly mocked a month earlier.
The fraudulent foundation of Deion Sanders marches on.
